Hydroxyethyl Cellulose For Ink

Hydroxyethyl cellulose, chemical formula (C2H6O2)n, English name: HEC, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, appearance and properties: white to light yellow fibrous or powdered solid, non-toxic, tasteless, easily soluble in water. Insoluble in general organic solvents. It has the properties of thickening, suspension, adhesion, emulsification, dispersion and moisture retention. Can prepare solutions of different viscosity ranges. Very good salt solubility to electrolytes. Hydroxyethylcellulose is a gelling agent and thickener derived from cellulose. It is widely used in cosmetics, cleaning solutions and other household products.
